When we hear the word Gravel, concepts such as freedom, adventure and fun automatically come to mind. Surely for this reason, more and more cyclists opt to buy a Gravel bike and the numbers of this discipline are constantly increasing. However, we have all had doubts at some time or another, Do I go tubeless or with inner tube? Do I mount a protective insert?  Here are some clues to help you make the right decision. Gravel bike wheel

I MOSTLY RIDE ON TRAILS AND SOME ROAD RIDING.

If you have identified yourself with this sentence, then a combination that brings you comfort, a lot of protection and a good pedaling efficiency would be: A light 700Cx35 tire combined with the Tannus Armour Gravel Insert for inner tubes (700×35-40) and an ultra-light and resistant Eclipse Race or Race Ultra inner tube. This set weighs only 280 g per wheel and the protection it offers is total. In addition, it gives you the added bonus of not having to worry about tire maintenance, as it is significantly lower compared to the Tubeless system.

For the more adventurous, we recommend the combination of: A resistant tire of 700Cx45 combined with the ultra-light Tannus Tubeless Insert and its sealing liquid. Undoubtedly, for cyclists looking for maximum protection for their tires and a really low weight, this is the ideal choice for your gravel bike. To the 70 g of the Tannus Tubeless Insert for Gravel we only have to add about 50-60 g of sealing liquid. With this combination, we can go super light and our rims are perfectly protected from knocks and bumps even when lowering the tire pressure.

Small, compact, resistant and ULTRALIGHT. That is Eclipse
