If we're talking about Tannus eliminating punctures and maintenance (the cyclist's number one concern), we're not telling you anything you don't already know. In this post we want to answer one of the questions we have been asked the most since the beginning: Are there triathletes and teams that wear Tannus?
They exist, and we bring you two cases. The first, from the hand of the British triathlete couple Lucy Charles y Reece Barclay. And the second, direct from Ukraine with Liubov Basova, Andrii Vynokurov, Olena Pavlukhina and the brothers Alex and Maksym Lopatyuk.

When Lucy Charles and Reece Barclay, two of Britain's top triathletes, train on their bikes, one thing is clear to them: they won't get a flat.
They are among the more than 15 members of Hoddesdon Tri Club in Hertfordshire using Tannus Aither 1.1 airless tires, with the peace of mind of knowing they can go thousands of miles without worrying about a puncture.
Triathletes Lucy, 23, and Reece, 25, who were the fastest out of the water in the recent Kona World ChampionshipsThe Tannus were taken to Thailand for the southern hemisphere season.
The Brits have said the Tannus performed well in their training in Phuket, where the roads change quickly from smooth asphalt to rough and punishing roads. And the pair spent much of the winter racing in Asia for the Thanyapura team.
For them, who combine their training around their working day as fitness coachesThe freedom to fully focus on uninterrupted training in winter is a great opportunity.
In Reece's words, "Winter training is so much easier. We can get out on the triathlon bikes more and train in aero positions longer."
These tannusriders have only been participating in triathlons for 3 years, and both of them decided to start after the meeting at the Hatfield Swimming Club.
Tannus were discovered for the first time at Eurobike Show and since then they have not turned back and use them all the time.
They are unstoppable and have taken the Tannus on the wet roads of Herts and Essex and even on the river road commute to Stratford aquatic center. The pictures speak for themselves. Lucy Charles came 3rd at Ironman Lanzarote in May 2016, and Reece Barclay took 1st place at Ironman in the overall men's 25-29.
LUCY CHARLES
"The last thing you want when you train doing sets is a flat tire. You never get the intensity back and the training session is lost. That doesn't happen with the Tannus. They're great for training.
REECE BARCLAY
"When we first rode in the club, there were some people who looked at us strangely, but after riding on wet terrain and when there were 10 punctures, riders came one by one and asked me about the tires. Now, there are about 20 club members who use Tannus."

In this case, 10 to 12 members of the Ukrainian National track team use Tannus Aither 1.1 tires in their outdoor training. They consider it vital that a puncture does not ruin their training and since they came into contact with the Tannus, they have never looked back.
Athletes using the tires include the double European gold medalist Liubov Basova y Andrii Vynokurovwho are in second place in the UCI Keirin rankings.
The cyclist Olena Pavlukhinawho competed in the Rio Olympics race, is also training with puncture-proof tires, along with brothers and pro cyclists Alex y Maksym Lopatyuk.
The marathon runner Alex Lopatyuk said 10 to 12 team members are using the tires for their off-road training. Most of them on a standard road bike and a track bike equipped with brakes for outdoor training. They were testing them 6 months in advance to see if they would perform at the required level, and the Tannus did not disappoint!
Their coaches say: "You would never offer athletes new equipment unless you are sure it works for them. The Tannus are completely safe and make you work harder. Even highly skeptical mechanics accepted these tires at the end of 2016."
If you still had doubts, with these examples we can reaffirm that the Tannus are a key piece in the training of cyclists.
