José Molina's story turned into a project: #IMHEART

#IMHEART seeks to make the invisible visible through sport by means of challenges. The goal is to support people with Fibromyalgia, as they have the same feeling as if they were doing a daily IronMan.

Today we want to share with you a very special project. It is #IMHeart, which seeks to make visible through sport, the invisible disease of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).

This disease causes weakness, muscle pain, insomnia and fatigue after exertion lasting more than 24 hours. And the best therapy is to be accompanied by those around you.

José Molina is an energetic man, 43 years old, and he had a dream he wasn't about to let go: Olympic Triathlon (1.5k swim, 40km bike and 10km run) so he started to prepare for it. After a long period of constant training, he noticed that instead of moving forward he was moving backwards, and soon after he was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, which made him give up on his biggest dream.

As a result, the project #IMHeartHe did not hesitate, he said YES and began to live without fear and to make his disease visible through the project.

#IMHeart (I am heart) is a parallelism between the effort of the sick person and the challenge as demanding and hard as the IronMan test, as Fibromyalgia and CFS patients face a daily IronMan.

One of the next challenges of this project is to demonstrate that despite suffering from the disease, with support and affection, any goal can be achieved. For this reason, a group of 30 athletes will accompany them in the SKODA TRIATHLÓN SERIES in Tarragona on August 8 José Molina in his first Olympic triathlon.

Some of the challenges that have been carried out previously have been an IRONMAN in Barcelona for Fibromyalgia, a challenge with iWOPI to achieve 150,000 km in 3 months, solidarity training and a 121 km race in 24 hours, among others.

We all have to support José with this challenge. And from TANNUS we will help him to ride for sure.
