Tannus Tires at the Sea Otter Europe & Orbea Cadí Challenge 2018
We were present at two of the most important events of the month of June and we tell you the most important.
During June 8-9-10, the fair will be held at the Sea Otter Europe held in Girona opened its second stage after its great inaugural success, doubling the number of visitors (50,000) including some 5,000 cyclists.
That same weekend, the Orbea Cadí Challenge and together with Pinyi BikesWe, the official mechanical service of the race, were present to assist anyone who had a puncture, offering a Tannus + Progress Wheels.

Girona has established itself as the new international meeting point in the bicycle sector, the second edition of the Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona Bike Show The number of visitors increased by 50% compared to the previous year and nearly 5,000 cyclists (25% more) participated in the different events. (ELIMINATOR, BTT CLASSIC, COPA CATALANA DE TRIAL, TANDEM, THE PIRINEXUS 360 CHALLENGE, E-MTB MARATHON, MARATHON CUP BTT, INTERNATIONAL CYCLOTURIST SOE GF World Tour and SUPER CUP MASSI).
The atmosphere was unique, international participation (more than 50 countries), media coverage (150 accredited journalists) and the most attractive, the best cyclists in the world in different disciplines, where visitors have been able to approach, chat and even pedal with them. In addition, we were able to meet one of the winners of the 5 free registrations that we raffle for the 160Km Cyclotourist, official circuit of the Gran Fondo World Tour. Josep, the lucky Tannus Rider, came to the stand before the start of the race and was presented with a limited edition Gobik jersey (Tannus & OutBraker). Next to the brand Vitoria Bikes, we made a live assembly of some Tannus 700×23 Love in the model Vitoria Raypur Racing and we could count on the coverage of Didac Illa @Bridaypedal and Carles from @Vivirpedaleando.
We also present for the first time our new hardness Hard (7.8 BAR) from NEW SLICK 700×25focused on a totally sporty use, where visitors were able to try it on a bike from Vitoria.
Orbea Cadí Challenge
The Cadí Challenge, held this weekend, is a cyclotourist march consisting of 2 stages:
(1st. STAGE Guardiola de Berguedà - Bellver) 135KM / 3.000m+
Hard stage, with sustained slopes and descents with very good asphalt. Unique views of the Cadi and the peaks of the French and Catalan Pyrenees.
(2nd. STAGE Bellver - Guardiola de Berguedà) 118KM / 2.200m+
A smoother stage with an initial neutralized section up to La Seu d'Urgell. It is followed by an assortment of secondary roads with spectacular views of Pedraforca.
Together with Pinyi Bicis, the official mechanical service of the race, we were present to assist anyone who had a puncture, offering a Tannus + Progress Wheels.
With this same procedure, we will cover the following marches, Buff 4Cims, La Ruta Minera, GF La Falla.
