TYPES OF ROLLERS

In the market we can find different types of rollers, the most known and compatible with the Tannus are:

BALANCE ROLLER – ROLLERS

The rollers offer little resistance to pedaling and improve balance and skill on the bike. Widely used by track riders, in the following Instagram post you can see how professional track rider Maksym Lopatiuk (Georgia) uses it.

FLUID ROLLER

These bicycle rollers use a fluid, usually oil, for the pedal resistance system. The regulation is done by the pedaling energy and the gear ratio we use. They are the quietest and most realistic.

MAGNETIC ROLLER

They are generally the most used and cheapest. Pedaling resistance is by means of magnets and a fan, which are usually adjustable. They are less realistic and a little more noisy but we can find options within this type of roller in which this aspect has been improved. Some are wireless and have their simulation app.

WHY TANNUS AND NOT ANOTHER TIRE?

With traditional tires, foreign objects that are embedded in the outer exits give rise to a puncture by rubbing, forming a hole, with Tannus this does not occur.

¿PODEMOS MANTENER LA FORMA HACIENDO RODILLO? . Pues dependiendo de cual fuera vuestro nivel, posiblemente sí, pero oye, el caso es mantener la actividad física en niveles saludables y oxigenar la mente. . Además el rodillo es una de las mejores opciones para corredores y ciclistas, ya que te ayuda a: 👉 mejorar la cadencia al no parar de pedalear en ningún momento. 👉 adelgazar, algo en común a cualquier entrenamiento cíclico. 👉 lo básico ahora mismo, entrenar en casa. . Pero antes de subirte al rodillo, hay 4️⃣ cosas a tener en cuenta: . 1️⃣ El espacio donde hacer el entreno, sobretodo la ventilación es algo muy importante, pasados unos minutos la temperatura aumentará y la sensación térmica puede llegar a ser muy incómoda ( incluso el uso de ventilador puede ser muy buena idea ) . 2️⃣ Comida y bebida, que no estemos en el exterior no significa que no debemos hidratarnos y comer como en cualquier entreno outdoor. La medida aproximada sería de 1l / h . 3️⃣ Material audiovisual, pensad que puede llegar a ser muy aburrido, así que cargaos de videos, música, sesiones de entreno…hay rodillos que incorporan plataformas para poder competir online con otros deportistas. . 4️⃣ Logística, es decir, necesitarás tener alguna superficie donde colocar él portátil, móvil… Que una vez empieces no tengas que parar. Y además una cosa indispensable, toalla!! Pensad en una clase de spinning…pues eso!!! . Una vez controlados estos 4 pasos, ya puedes darle caña!! . Dicho esto, solo quiero añadir que son momentos de intentar disfrutar más que nunca del deporte, de aprovechar para probar disciplinas nuevas y compartirlo con otras personas gracias a la gran parrilla que tenemos en redes y otras plataformas ( como los entrenamientos que hacemos en directo a las 11am desde el canal de Youtube de @sprinter_es ) ..
