Tannus joins peace for Ukraine by donating 10,000$ to War Relief Fund

The Russia-Ukraine conflict has triggered a serious humanitarian crisis. Several million Ukrainians have fled their homes fleeing the fighting and shelling. 

On March 15, the aid was officially communicated from the Headquarters of Tannus delivering 10,000$ in war relief funds to the Ukrainian embassy. with the purpose of helping Ukrainians who are suffering from Russia's recent invasion and to actively participate in peace actions.

A web message praying for peace in Ukraine has been launched, just as a large banner has been hung on the outside wall of Gimhae headquarters with the words 'Peace' and 'Tannus' in the blue and yellow Ukrainian flag.

Since 2016 Tannus has been present in Ukraine. Thanks to the local distributor and the close tie with the Ukrainian national track cycling team, Tannus has been perfected.

As a result, we found improvements in the material compound and deck pattern among others; this feedback We value it very much, it makes us grow in the best way as a company.

That is why there is no better way to give back than by helping us in difficult times. The Ukrainian Tannus staff, Max and Alex, are currently on the move to the battlefield and we want to convey our full support to them and all the families.

In 2018, a team of 10 Ukrainian cyclists (Chumak Way), including several war veterans, traveled more than 10,000km, ending a three-month tour of the United States and Canada to raise awareness of Russian-led military attacks against civilians in eastern Ukraine.

Tannus was present and rode the road to peace together with them. Thanks to the possibility of being able to manufacture Tannus in many colors, we were able to represent the Ukrainian flag on their bikes.
